Flying J Oil & Gas Inc. is headquartered in North Salt Lake, Utah with a field office in Roosevelt, Utah.  The entity is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flying J Inc.

Flying J Oil & Gas Inc. has been in operation since 1980 and is focused in the Rocky Mountain region with core operations in the Uinta Basin of Utah and the Williston Basin in eastern Montana.  The company has an interest in approximately 200 oil and gas wells and 68,000 net acres in four Rocky Mountain states.

Flying J Oil & Gas Inc.'s growth strategy is to acquire oil and gas reserves and production through a combined acquisition and drilling program.
